Who Is David Mott, Writer, Blogger, Divorced Single Dad?

While I announce my new about The Author page as an offical information source for David Mott, writer, blogger, divorced single dad, I thought I’d take a moment to reveal another side of me.

Yes, that’s me, enjoying a day of auto racing at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey.

Okay, so I don’t hit the racetrack all that often. But is trumpeting this faux passion of mine any worse than Barack Obama bowling, or Hillary Clinton hunting ducks? I’m just trying to broaden the demographic reach of my base.

Is my neck red enough yet?

  1. Cool! Another single dad blog! I’ll add you to my blogroll, and look forward to keeping up with you.

    P.S.
How do you find time to date? I barely have time to workout a couple of days a week!

  2. Hi Don – finding time to date is very hard. I have half-time custody, so that helps. Still, getting out there consistently and finding women to date is a challenge. Much better to find a girlfriend and stick with her for a while (a long while, if things work out)

  3. i dont know where you can find the time eithor. i am a full time single parent that puts in about 60 to 70 hours a week at work. would love to find time to date. my daughter and i just got a dog and thank God she is a teenager and can spend quality time with the dog. whom am i to judge how someone dates when i barely find time for an animal.

  5. It’s just a tad pink. I need to see the used car lot in your front yard or know that people have dropped by when your garage door is open thinking that you are hosting a garage sale… then… we can talk! ;)
