Ithink that its tipical teen behavier but thats not completely a good thing i mean if your ready to have sex or in deep love and not for popularity than I say maybe but atthis age what are kids going to think when they see there fav. popstar naked they will live up to it and I do not think that at 15 young girls/guys should be posting themselvs in a sexual pic.

I dont blame her for what she did, i would do the same thing.But since that she works for disney channel that was not a smart career move.she is just like anyother teen her age except she is famous!i dont exactly apporve of her dad helping her with this!she reminds me of myself!!!!!!but im glad she bounced back!!!

sorry but miley is growing up way to fast. yes her vshow is a hit and she sells alot of merchantdise but really now that could never be my child taking naked shot and sending them to her boyfriend online. all of this just to impress some boy that doesn’t even want her and shes trying to get back at her by going with some one that is twenty.noway and her father is going along with this sandle that is so stuppid of him she’s not even legal.maybe he should stop trying to be her friend and be a parent instead of worrying about his own career and focus on his child

It’s interesting to look back on this controversy of just a few months ago. Hard to believe that it caused so much furor~!

After all of Miley’s racy cell-phone pictures (that she took herself!) have been all over the internet, after Disney’s bringing out an batch of newly manufactured slightly squeakier-clean tween stars that are indistinguishable from each other and from what Miley used to be.

My 9 year old daughter is talking these days about the Cheetah Girls and High School Musical–she’s all, Miley who?

It seems clear now that Miley was 1) not exactly all that innocent anyway, and 2) just up to the usual hard-sell-yourself-at-all-costs antics of the industry.

Not exploited. Not a commentary on our society. Just another *yawn* “what won’t they do to sell us crap” fake advertising scheme.

But isn’t a lot of popular culture obviously fake? Best to find that out early, in my opinion. I let my little girl have her fun with a little fandom and fantasies about what these girls are really like. But I try not to encourage it by buying (too many!) tickets, records, movies or etc, and every now and then we have a discussion about how Hannah Montana or whoever probably isn’t very much like they act on TV.
