I wondered why we hadn't heard anything else about Dream Woman. Sorry she hasn't materialized yet.
As far as losing your Mojo...could one of your recent posts have something to do with it?

"Reading Loose Girl helped me be more aware of my own actions when I have coffee dates that turn into booty calls. It made me question my own motivations for sometimes choosing casual encounters rather than seeking real and lasting intimacy. (I’m still working that!)"

Maybe you haven't lost your Mojo, maybe you're just going through a reflective stage.
I wish you lived out here in Tx. As a single mom reading your posts, I would LOVE to date you!

I have a feeling you might get your mojo back next Tuesday night; Lord, I know I will!

But I better you didn't really "lose" it — it just has been so overworked lately, it needed a teeny-tiny break ...

I echo the lack of mojo-ness this week. Since it seems a common thread across the board (at least on this blog-o-sphere), it can't just be the rain...

My story? I was eagerly looking forward to meeting someone with whom I've had an ongoing long distance 'relationship/conversation': a year's worth of friendly, flirty phone calls. We met for the first time when I was traveling for work last week. And while he was indeed a nice man, and we had a lovely time ;), the fact is he lied about his age, significantly, among other things, and (though I tried not to expect too much) I was fairly disappointed.

Anyway, my mojo left me upon my return. I too am feeling slightly sorry for myself this week, like I'm back at square one again. Dateless, and waiting...

Thank heavens for family and friends, some of whom I hope will drag me out Saturday night (my birthday) and help me get my groove on. I sure don't want to mope around feeling sorry for myself just because I don't have a date this year. Sigh.

Yah mon, bring on the reggae and the rum, its a pirate's life for me. Argh! Oh, wait... perhaps a mo-jo-ito? haha

Hey, Dads, that reminds me. Got any cool cocktails to recommend, something that sounds naughty enough to giggle about when my gf's order it with the bartender?

Ever try something completely off the wall or out of the ordinary in such times? Sometimes I think that the flat stretches of life's road are times to either relax, times to prepare us for the climb ahead, or moments that allow us to open our minds and do something off the wall and crazy! We have the time to try something we normally wouldn't or see opportunities that previously did not appear!

Enjoy this stretch of the road... after all, Life is a highway!

Life is a cycle, so I'm sure it will return soon!

My own mojo-enhancing activities include anything that takes me away from my boring "adult" life that sometimes includes a bit too much responsibility.

Like 1) Listening to lots of LOUD, unapologetically trashy rock n roll from my past (Stevie Ray Vaughn and AC/DC--yeah, I know, but it takes me back!), and singing and air-guitaring along enthusiastically in the privacy of car/home, 2) Video night rewatching one or more sublimely idiotic comedies that somehow kill me (the blues brothers, Harald and Kumar go to white castle), 3) getting outdoors and getting some exercise and 4) talking to old friends on the phone.

And go to the grocery store and flirt with someone cute but inappropriate...you gotta get over that dream woman who was a bit too good (& too unknown) to be true.
