I have been seeing these things all over the place and they look really cool. I wanna get my 8 year old a cheap camcorder for christmas. These things aren't cheap enough for her because I need something I won't be devestated about if it breaks. But they get great reviews from everything I've been reading. Yup, those things are fun, and so much more convenient/less expensive than a quality digital camera. One of my friends has one and he’s captured some great moments! It seems your executive/parental decision was a winner.
