Priceless Humor from Dad’s House
There have been some funny stories in Dad’s House this year, especially from the kids. From food to finances, texting to toilets, there’s been no shortage of humorous anecdotes.
Which bit of humor was most priceless? Here’s a rundown of the funniest stories involving the children and single parents (okay, involving me) in Dad’s House from 2008.
(If sexy and funny stories are more your thing, by all means, head on over…)
Priceless Humor
• Grilling With Grandpa – in which my dad gives his best grilling tips about my overcooked steak.
• Investment Advice From a Sixth Grader – sage investment advice from a new generation
• Um, Good Morning, America? – a funny, funny morning in the life of a single dad
• My Teenage Daughter is a Fast Girl – when your daughter is a track stud, running an errand takes on a whole new meaning
• Grilling at the Graduation Picnic – how (not) to cook hot dogs for a hundred kids!
• PreTeen Sex Talk With a Boy – um, we already had this talk? My bad!
• Hearts and Starry Nights – a tit-for-tat crayon scribbling incident
• Prank Phone Call – some cell phone ringtones can certainly shake it
• When a Single Dad’s Daughter Needs Girl Stuff – why is it so dang hard for men to buy feminine hygiene products? Catch the funny intro videos on my blog, then read my guest post on SingleMomSeeking.
• Birds, Bees, and Axe Body Spray – too much of a bad thing is never good.
Why is priceless humor so… what’s the word?… priceless!

I enjoyed the prank call story, probably because that was a G rated story so I could share it with my son for a laugh.
Now, if his sister still lived at home, I probably would not have wanted to give him any ammo to get her in trouble.
We both laughed…thanks for that!

These are all good DH. They all give wonderful insight into the daily lives of you and your kids. I like their quick wit and sense of humor. They seem like confident, well-adjusted, charmingly independent children.
You and your ex? The both of you did good.
