same donna, here again. i was thinking more about your dream a few days after my earlier post *knocks herself in the head* how could i not think of the 3 muses? anyway you were in the shower with your 3 muses but you didn’t think they were there for the right purpose and you sent them away. message: take inspiration where you can get it, it might not be where you expect it to be, but keep an open mind, maybe you’ll find inspiration in unexpected places. wasn’t gonna re-post b/c i don’t know you ever return to these “old” boards, but then thought what the hell, you never know. :)

i just stumbled onto your blog for the first time (via a miley comment you made on a zap2it blog) and you sucked me in here a little bit! dream interp is my specialty. but it’s harder not knowing you. but here goes: in waking life, you are trying to prepare yourself for something which i believe (from the context of your dream) is a relationship. like finding a life partner for yourself. but you’re not sure what you should do to prepare yourself for it. but you do feel sure that you are not doing enough to “get ready” for that. maybe the dream is trying to tell you 1) get your game on, dude! (do what you need to do to ready yourself), and 2) be (more) ready to meet someone at any time, not just when you think you should be ready. and don’t be afraid to ask for help. maybe this makes sense?

p.s. i too am a fan of the dalai lama.

p.p.s. oh yeah, or as others have stated above, you really just need to get some!

I think you woke up when you did because you haven't met the person you are looking for and your brain couldn't supply the information. Right before I had my first child I had delivery dreams. They were variations of being told I was in labor and being stopped at the delivery room door. I hadn't had a baby yet so I couldn't dream that part. Laura C. Interesting... I have always heard that a writer opens up and allows the pain and the sorrow (as well as the happiness and the joy) to show. This is how a writer can touch lives and impact the reader. We each bare a little of ourselves to those who read our writing or share our lives... the question is always how much to share and with whom we can safely share it. As the creativity comment above notes - the dream seems as if you are only willing to be bare before a special person - perhaps it applies to more of your life than just the shower or your "love?" Who knows... it is, after all, just a dream. Interesting as it all is... but it is fun to try and see what it means or what the dreams are telling. I agree with the vulnerability idea; we all feel most vulnerable when naked. Perhaps your creativity is making you feel vulnerable...you are/were up against a deadline this week, no?
