Single Parent Blogger Vacation
I haven’t taken r-and-r in quite some time. And this week my kids are off from school. So what’s a single parent blogger to do? Stop blogging, dammit! We’re planning a road trip.
Dad’s House will be quiet for the next few days. At least I’ll be quiet. I don’t know about my tantra-loving readers. Maybe you all will come visit just to let out a tantric breathing orgasmic wail or two.
At any rate, think of me and my kids watching the Tour of California bike race, with Lance Armstrong whizzing by on his kick-ass replacement bike (someone actually stole the bike he uses for time trials!)
If you’re watching the Tour of California on TV, be sure to set your DVR to record. My son and I plan to make sure the world sees us on the side of the road.
What will Dads and Dads Jr. wear to make sure we can’t be missed?
- Gorilla suits…?

Were you and my ex separated at birth? He’s going to watch the tour in Pasedena and on Palomar… Not taking the kid yet since he is only 5. I have a certain nostalgia for groggy 6 am mountain stages on OLN, watched over coffee… but not enough to get up by myself ;-) Have fun watching them whiz by!
