Men’s Playground
Ah, the men’s playground, that bastion of male fun. For some men, it’s a golf course or polo field. For others, a place to play cards or drink a pint. Whatever the form, a men’s playground should be a place where men can be at their manly best.
Dad’s House has ventured to some playgrounds over the past year:
- Sailing a yacht in the San Francisco bay
- Playing soccer with old guys in Palo Alto (I fit right in)
- Wine tasting in Napa for a sexy and funny wine country date
- A cycling race with Lance Armstrong (okay, so he rode, and I didn’t. Whatever.)
- Some sweet backyard BBQs and tailgates where I can show off my Worlds Best hamburger recipe.
- Vacation in the BVI with lots of rum, ginger beer, lime (Dark and Stormy!)
- A quaint hike with a woman who suggested I come see her nude in chains…

Men and their toys- and joys.
I think I might just be a boy! or at least want to play with their toys. This is why I work in Engineering.
I played with barbies and babies in my Tonka trucks and Lincoln Logs

I want to visit the playground for men in Germany…I love the idea of trying a backhoe or a jackhammer. They sound like fun:~)
I envy you for seeing Lance Armstrong!!! I love to watch bicycle racing…well actually any kind of racing. My father built race cars so I guess in some ways I inherited his love of speed. On the other hand, I agree that I rather kick back and enjoy the real racing on TV. Thanks for this post.

Sounds cool. We have a small backhoe at the park near our house but nothing like the one in that picture.
Anyways I think there are a lot of places that are men’s playgrounds – rock climbing gyms, batting cages, go karts!
