My daughter is grown, has a good job & a house, will look up numbers but wants me or her noyfriend to make the call. She hates talking on the phone. Sick? "Mom, can you call the doctor for me?" Cable/internet? Doesn't have them because she cannot call them.

IDEA: Wrap up a phone book and give it to your daughter for her next birthday or holiday. Remember those huge things with printed numbers? It's so wild, they still work!

Paula´s last blog post..Dogs are fun :-)

oh man - I have done a late night Domino's run in college too...after buying a Bialetti pizza stone, I hate going out for pizza now though, especially a place that is selling you a pre-made frozen pizza and likes to push insane amounts of bread sticks and oreo cookie cakes on people...yuck. I am lucky enough to live in the Boston area where, in the North End, there are still some excellent pizza shops left, so if I really get a craving while I'm out there's always a decent pizza joint...but I feel like if my daughter had gotten the munchies I'd rather make a pie and bring it over to her than subject her to Domino's :) And I'm not even a food snob...really..!

Ahh, yes I am familiar with the must have pizza munchies, even in my 'old' age. That's the best thing about being a teen, dad knows everything! In fact, my dad still does.

So what you're telling me is that it doesn't get any better, eh? My almost 4-year-old son will drop something in the floor a foot away from him and asks me (from across the room or in another room) to come get it for him.

Except I'm not as nice as you, I tell him to get up and get it himself. :)
