Kristy – CNN sought me out and didn’t pay me for this interview. I admit that a blogging goal of mine is to further my writing career, but that’s no different from someone who writes articles for magazines. I think most Dad’s House readers would say I try to offer heartfelt stories, opinions, and bits of wisdom in my posts, in an entertaining way. Is there something wrong with that? My about page relates that I gave up a successful software engineering career to pursue dreams of being a novelist. I think my motivations and aims are more noble than you give me credit. We all have to make a living. I’m happy and grateful for the chance to do that as a writer.
