I’m a life-long Oakland Raiders fan, and buddies and I try to attend at least one game a year. But something has me uninspired about shelling out money for the stadium pageantry this year.

I lived in southern California when the Raiders played there…I had access to seats right behind James Garner… he was usually on the sidelines…but he was gracious and friendly and a total Raider fan.

I’ve never been a football fan, but if I were I would be a 49ers fan because that’s my dad’s team of choice.

My husband and I used to have season tickets just over the Raiders players’ tunnel. It was awesome. There’s nothing like Raiders football.
