My son is 3 and has known his colors since he was 2! He can count to 10 with help and can say A B C D… lol

I had the good fortune to meet up with Mindy and her daughter later that day. Everything David says here is true. What an amazing little girl. I drew a little maze on a piece of paper to keep her occupied during dinner so Mindy and I could chat. “See the little rabbit? Try and help him find his way to this house.” She navigated the twists and turns with ease, then flipped the paper back at me saying,”And rabbits don’t live in houses. They live in holes in the ground!”

She stole my heart.

Just kidding. It is so much fun when you can play with a little one again. I love the teen years, when you get to see who they’ve been becoming all along, but they’re just so darn adorable when they’re young (eh, that’s what keeps ‘em alive sometimes.)

I think you’ll end up having another kid after all. What is really so bad about it? Kids are really nice to have around most of the time. ; )

I have my kids almost all grown and I went on a date the other day with a single dad of a 3 yr old boy. This guy may just be worth starting all over again.

Ilinap – I meant to blog about our dinner/cocktail get together, but I was traveling that week we met up. There are some other bloggers I haven’t blogged about. Basically, the meet-ups where alcohol was involved, I stayed mum on. (Hmmm… I think I should do a post…)

BigLittleWolf – my teens don’t want to know anything about my dating life, so they steer clear of my blog. The parenting stuff we talk about before I put posts up. As for the cocktails… I hope they aren’t taking notes on those!
