Giving Thanks

ocean sunset Thursday is Thanksgiving in the US, and a perfect time to say thank you to Dad’s House readers and commentators. I get tons of visitors each day, with a small but hearty minority leaving comments. Plus another slew who subscribe by RSS and get Dad’s House delivered to their reader.

Thanks to all of you for making this blog fun to write. Your insights, barbs, and witty responses are appreciated!

Meanwhile, as usual, I’m writing as fast as I can – and there will be two posts today – one a recipe I promised to a reader (it will be updated later with some pictures as I do my baking), and the other, soon – more in keeping with the holiday spirit.

Thanks Dave. Your blog was the first one I came across after my divorce and I “cyber stalked” it for quite a while before leaving my first comment. It snowballed from there into my own blog which I love having. This have been a safe haven for me that I didn’t know existed.

This Thanksgiving I’ll be writing a paper on “Intimacy” for my Psych class. Still trying to wrap my mind around a booty call feeling intimate :-) Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love has me fascinated these days ~ Passion, Intimacy and Commitment ~ that’s what I want.
