The boys have been keeping me posted on their dating adventures. They certainly have better stories to tell than they used to.

Most of that is because they are dating women who are closer in age to us than they were.

Saint Nobody – not all women here are like that, but I’ve definitely met some that are. Like Miss Money Crazy who wants to marry a wallet, who I met in a Palo Alto winebar: http://dadshouseblog.com/2009/11/03/from-sizzle-to-fizzle-before-second-date/

There’s also the San Francisco singles I’ve met who have their passports ready, and can’t imagine I could ever travel since I have kids. The concept of juggling custody dates is foreign to them.

I sometimes wish I lived in Santa Barbara. I always meet very cool – and available – women there. But they want to live there, and I want to live here near my kids!
