My teen daughter’s high school track regular season just ended. The team did great. My daughter did great. So of course, like a good proud parent, I engaged in some healthy bragging to my parents, brothers, and sisters-in-law. (I do the same for my son.)

Ah, Spring! Sunny skies, warmer weather, women showing a hint of bare shoulder, kids smelling like sunscreen again.
Come spring, my teen daughter trades her soccer cleats for spikes as a sprinter on her high school track team.

Miley Cyrus has a boyfriend: underwear model Justin Gaston. She’s fifteen, he’s twenty, and the tabloids are all a twitter. Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, not only approves of the match, he introduced the two. (I assume Billy Ray wasn’t paid off by some agent to arrange this Justin Gaston match.)
